Hi, Bob! Thanks for stopping by. I loved your biography on Will, "Will Eisner: A Spirited Life". Your website is very informative, as well.
Many of the guys in P.I.C. TOONS Studios, including myself, were fortunate to have Will Eisner as an instructor during our college days at the School of Visual Arts. I’ve told this many times before… my earliest memory of Will Eisner was when he said in class (September 1986), "I think comic books are far more than two mutants trashing each other." I was always a bit intimidated to show Will my work in class. However, one of the nicest things Will ever said to me after reviewing some of my artwork was "You have a nice line". Now, this was the greatest thing for an aspiring comic book inker to hear form one of his heroes. Will Eisner is greatly missed.
